My first foray into making a butter bell after seeing one at my friend's house—such a clever and simple idea that I had to try it. This little gadget will not only spruce up your kitchen counter, it will also provide room-temperature, spreadable butter all hours of the day and night.
Fill the top bell with butter and the bottom bowl with just enough water to create a seal when the bell is placed back on top.
